Abstract

introduction: Home special caring program is a treatment –caring program for children with cerebral palsy which has considered its effectiveness on parents and their children. This program used neurodevelopmental approach helps parent to improve parent ability into their children's caring and independence. To successfully implement program, occupational therapists should consider educational program (one workshop, booklet, phone follow-up)  facilitator factors that were infleneced on parent implementation of home caring program. Materials and Methods: Data gathered and analyzed with qualitative content analysis method. 15 in-depth interviews were conducted with parents who participated and implemented the program at home for three months. Transcripts of interview were coded by usinginductive conventional qualitative content analysis. Results: Facilitator factors were grouped into three main categories: "factors related to workshop", " factors related to booklet", " persistent relationship with children's therapists". Conclusions:There were several factors indicated that, occupational therapist should pay more attention to educational methods of cerebral palsies parent and hold their supportive relationships with parents during implementation of  home- based educational caring program.
