A report from National Health Services (NHS) in the United Kingdom

Abstract

Introduction: Nowadays, having a good Health Care System is one of the criteria of developed countries; so, countries with high level of health standards are classified as developed, and countries without such standards are grouped as poor and non-developed countries. In spite of remarkable progresses in different fields of health and management of diseases and increasing level of health services during last three decades, according to ranking system of World Health Organization (WHO), there is still a long way to gain the standardized level of health.According to the WHO, National health services (NHS) in the United Kingdom (UK) is recognized as one of the best systems of health in the world for its upgraded level of health services among their people and establishing international standardized criteria in this field. The aim of this report was to introduce methods of interaction between patients and health workers, and important points and factors related to NHS in the UK.This report tries to provide an objective condition to compare such a health system with similar one in Iran. In the present report, all efforts have also been performed to reflect the positive points in NHS and finally to open possible ways to accommodate such conditions in our country.Key words: NHS, Primary Cares, Secondary Cares
