Considering the fact that elderly who are visually impaired encounter problems related to keep balance and its effect on their social activities, the aim of the current research was to study the effect of physical exercise on using audio-vibratory alarming feedback device on controlling balance among the visually impaired elderly.Materials and Methods: Thirty visually impaired elderly, whose impaired was confirmed using Snellen chart and opticians devices, were randomly chosen and divided into two groups of physical exercise and physical exercise with using biological feedback device. The exercise was of two types of tasks, standing alone or walking along with kinetic and thinking tasks. The elderly chosen for this test participated in posttest and pretest balance assessment using stabilometer. The groups exercised for 12 weeks and twice a week. To analyze the data, we used independent t and repeated measures ANOVA tests.Results: Physical exercise with and without using biological feedback device had significant effect on balance in visually impaired elderly (P = 0.001). Based on the independent t test, there was a significant difference between the two groups in terms of the effect on balance at posttest test; and the group of exercise with using device showed a better performance related (P = 0.035).Conclusion: Doing exercises using alarming biological feedback device can improve balance criteria. In this regard, multi-sensory manipulations based on substitution and adapting approaches can lead to even better results, and increase the effectiveness.}, keywords = {Auditory-vibratory alarming feedback,Postural balance,Elderly,Visual impairment}, title_fa = {تأثیر تمرین بدنی با دستگاه بازخورد هشدار دهنده لرزشی- شنیداری بر کنترل تعادل سالمندان کم‌بینا}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: کیفیت پایداری که به تعادل ارجاع داده می‌شود، تحت عنوان توانایی نگهداری مرکز ثقل در ارتباط با نقطه اتکا تعریف می‌گردد. با توجه به مشکلات افراد سالمند کم‌بینا در حفظ و نگهداری تعادل و تأثیر این مهم بر فعالیت‌های اجتماعی آنان، پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر تمرین بدنی با دستگاه بازخورد هشدار دهنده لرزشی- شنیداری بر کنترل تعادل سالمندان کم‌بینا انجام شد.مواد و روش‌ها: 30 سالمند کم‌بینا به صورت تصادفی ساده در دو گروه تمرین بدنی و تمرین بدنی به همراه دستگاه بازخورد زیستی قرار گرفتند. کم‌بینا بودن شرکت‌کنندگان از طریق تست Snellen و دستگاه بینایی‌سنجی مشخص گردید. تمرینات شامل دو گونه تکلیف ایستادن و راه رفتن به‌ همراه تکالیف دوگانه حرکتی و ذهنی بود. سالمندان در دو مرحله پیش‌آزمون و پس‌آزمون در آزمون‌های تعادلی دستگاه تعادل‌سنج استابیلومتر شرکت نمودند. گروه‌ها به مدت 12 هفته و هفته‌ای دو جلسه به تمرین پرداختند. نتایج با استفاده آزمون Repeated measures ANOVA مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت.یافته‌ها: تمرین بدنی بدون دستگاه بازخورد زیستی و همراه با آن، تأثیر معنی‌داری بر تعادل سالمندان کم‌بینا داشت (001/0 = P). بر اساس نتایج آزمون Independent t، تفاوت معنی‌داری بین تعادل دو گروه در مرحله پس‌آزمون مشاهده شد؛ بدین معنی که گروه تمرین با دستگاه، عملکرد بهتری را در تعادل نشان داد (035/0 = P).نتیجه‌گیری: تمرینات بدنی به‌ همراه استفاده از دستگاه بازخورد هشدار دهنده، می‌تواند موجب بهبود شاخص‌های تعادل شود. در این میان، دستکاری‌های چند حسی مبتنی بر راهبردهای سازگاری و جایگزینی می‌تواند نتیجه بهتری را به دنبال داشته باشد و بر میزان این اثربخشی بیفزاید.}, keywords_fa = {بازخورد هشدار دهنده لرزشی- شنیداری,تعادل وضعیتی,سالمندی,کم‌بینایی}, url = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_17089.html}, eprint = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_17089_ac0b402ed12d30c0332481853d0911c0.pdf} }
