On the other hand, weak or inappropriate shoulder muscle activity can be related to incidence of an injury. The purpose of this study was to compare the activation of selected scapulohumeral muscles in table tennis athletes between healthy and shoulder impingement syndrome group during a strike of forehand topspin.Materials and Methods: Thirty national-level male table tennis players aged 20 to 28 years were selected purposefully and divided into shoulder impingement syndrome (n = 15), and healthy (n = 15) groups. The surface electromyographic activity of selected muscles from scapulothoracic and glenohumeral joints was recorded during the strike of forehand topspin.Results: The level of the activity of the serratus anterior muscle (P = 0.007) and supraspinatus muscle (P = 0.001) in the shoulder impingement syndrome group was significantly lower and the level of upper trapezius muscle activation in the shoulder impingement syndrome subjects was significantly higher (P = 0.009) in shoulder impingement syndrome group compared to the healthy group. However, no significant differences were observed in the activation level of lower trapezius (P = 0.301), anterior deltoid (P = 0.314), and biceps brachii (P = 0.291) muscles.Conclusion: The results of this study showed that patients with impingement syndrome demonstrated unnatural and changed levels of muscle activity in scapulohumeral articulation during the forehand topspin strike. The findings confirm the theories that shoulder impingement may be related to changes in the activity level of scapulothoracic and glenohumeral muscles.}, keywords = {Electromyography,Shoulder impingement syndrome,Tennis}, title_fa = {مقایسه فعالیت الکترومیوگرافیک عضلات منتخب کمربند شانه‌ای حین انجام ضربه Forehand topspin در بازیکنان تنیس روی میز حرفه‌ای با و بدون ابتلا به سندرم گیرافتادگی شانه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آسیب‌های شانه در ورزشکاران تنیس ‌روی ‌میز و سایر ورزش‌هایی که اندام فوقانی بالاتر از سطح شانه فعالیت می‌کند، بسیار شایع است. از طرف دیگر، عملکرد ضعیف یا نامناسب عضلات شانه، با بروز آسیب ارتباط دارد. هدف از انجام تحقیق حاضر، مقایسه سطح فعالیت عضلات منتخب کمربند شانه‌ای بازیکنان تنیس ‌‌روی ‌‌میز حرفه‌ای در دو گروه سالم و دارای سندرم گیرافتادگی شانه در حین اجرای ضربه Forehand topspin بود.مواد و روش‌ها: 30 بازیکن تنیس روی میز حرفه‌ای مرد 20 تا 28 ساله به ‌صورت هدفمند انتخاب شدند و در دو گروه با و بدون ابتلا به سندرم گیرافتادگی شانه قرار گرفتند (هر گروه 15 نفر). سپس فعالیت سطحی عضلات منتخب کمربند شانه‌ای در حین انجام ضربه Forehand topspin، از سمت غالب اندام فوقانی نمونه‌ها ثبت گردید.یافته‌ها: سطح فعالیت عضله سراتوس انتریور (007/0 = P) و سوپرااسپیناتوس (001/0 = P) در گروه مبتلا نسبت به گروه سالم کاهش معنی‌داری داشت. سطح فعالیت عضله تراپزیوس فوقانی نیز در گروه مبتلا نسبت به گروه سالم افزایش معنی‌داری را نشان داد (090/0 = P). در همین راستا، تفاوت معنی‌داری بین دو گروه در سطح فعالیت عضلات تراپزیوس تحتانی (301/0 = P)، دلتوئید قدامی (314/0 = P) و دوسر بازویی (291/0 = P) مشاهده نشد.نتیجه‌گیری: بیماران دارای علایم گیرافتادگی شانه، سطح فعالیت غیر طبیعی را در عضلات این ناحیه هنگام اجرای ضربه Forehand topspin نشان می‌دهند. نتایج به دست آمده، این تئوری را که گیرافتادگی شانه ممکن است با تغییر در سطح فعالیت عضلات اسکاپولوتوراسیک و گلنوهومرال مرتبط باشد، تصدیق می‌کند.}, keywords_fa = {الکترومایوگرافی,سندروم گیرافتادگی شانه,تنیس}, url = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_17020.html}, eprint = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_17020_ede5870b8c2b5f82802934deee7c5f39.pdf} }
