This disease leads to lesions regarded to as demylinating plaques which are scattered in the white matter of CNS hence create various neurological problems.Materials and Methods: This was a single-blinded prospective quasi-experimental study with the aim of evaluating the effects of neuromuscular exercise on balance, gait and depression level of patients with MS. It was carried out in Isfahan during the year 2008. 24 patients with M.S (mean age: 33.33yr; mean height: 169.66 cm; mean weight: 66.87 kg, mean duration of disease: 6.64 years) underwent 10 sessions of neuromuscular exercise on an every-two-day basis. Data was obtained before initiating treatment program, after termination of the treatment and at 2 months follow up. Berg Balance scale, Dynamic Gait Index and Beck Depression Questionnaire were respectively used for evaluating balance, gait, and depression. To compare patients' condition at these stages, obtained data were analyzed through Paired t-test using SPSS software.Results: Pre- and Post treatment evaluation of balance, gait and depression showed significant differences (p=0.00). Also, there was a meaningful difference between pre-treatment and follow up ratings with regard to balance (p=0.00) and gait (p=0.03). Moreover, comparison of balance (p=0.00) and gait measurements (P=0.01) at pre-treatment and at two months follow up revealed a significant difference. But there was no meaningful difference in depression status either comparing post-treatment and two-month follow up ratings (p=0.14) or pre-treatment and two-month follow up evaluations (p=0.06).Conclusion: The study results show that continuous neuromuscular exercise may result in improved balance and Gait and in reduced depression in patients with MS. With regard to the course of disorder, initial condition may return if the exercises are discontiued.Key words: Multiple sclerosis, Balance, Gait, depression, Neuromuscular exercise}, keywords = {}, title_fa = {MSبررسی تاثیر تمرینات نوروماسکولار بر روی بالانس، راه رفتن و افسردگی بیماران مبتلا به}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:مولتیپل اسکلروزیس یکی از شایع ترین بیماری های نورولوژیک پیشرونده در افراد جوان بالغ می باشد، این بیماری منجر به ایجاد پلاک های دمیلینه در ماده سفید دستگاه عصبی مرکزی شده و در نتیجه علائم نورولوژیکال را به وجود می‌آورد.مواد و روش ها: این مطالعه از نوع آینده نگر، شبه تجربی و یک سویه کور و غیر تصادفی است و به منظور بررسی اثر تمرینات نروماسکولار بر روی بالانس، راه رفتن و افسردگی بیماران M.Sدر سال 88- 87در سطح شهر اصفهان انجام گرفته است. در این مطالعه طی 10  جلسه برای 24 بیمار مبتلا به M.S با شرایط دموگرافی.( میانگین سن:06/11  33/33  ، قد: 81/8  66/169    وزن:97/5  87/66 و مدت زمان ابتلا:  19/4  64/6  سال)تمرینات نوروماسکولار به صورت یک روز در میان انجام شد. اطلاعات حاصل از انجام آزمون ها قبل از درمان ، بعد از درمان و هنگام Follow up جمع آوری گردید.به منظور بررسی تعادل از Berg Balance scale برای راه رفتن از Dynamic Gait Index و جهت ارزیابی افسردگی از پرسش نامه افسردگی Beck استفاده شد. جهت تجزیه و تحلیل آماری نتایج به دست آمده از نرم افزار13 spss و برای مقایسه وضعیت بیماران در مراحل مختلف از آزمون T زوج شده استفاده گردید.نتایج: پس از بررسی های آماری نتایج زیر حاصل گردید:بین وضعیت تعادل، راه رفتن و افسردگی بیماران، قبل و بعد از درمان تفاوت معنی داری وجود داشت.(P=0.00)بین وضعیت تعادل P=0.00))وراه رفتن(P=0.03) بیماران قبل از درمان و در  زمان follow up تفاوت معنی داری وجود داشت.بین وضعیت تعادل (P=0.00)و راه رفتن(P=0.01) بیماران بعد از درمان و در زمان follow up تفاوت معنی داری وجود داشت.بین وضعیت افسردگی بیماران بعد از درمان و در زمان follow up (P=0.14) و  قبل از درمان و در  زمان follow up (P=0.06)تفاوت معنی داری وجود نداشت.بحث: نتایج حاصل از این مطالعه نشان داد که انجام تمرینات نوروماسکولار به صورت مداوم با فرض ثابت ماندن شرایط بیمار باعث بهبودی در شاخص های تعادل، راه رفتن و افسردگی بیماران مبتلا به MSمی شود. با توجه به روند بیماری در صورت توقف انجام تمرینات،  شرایط بیمار به وضعیت اولیه بر خواهد گشت.کلمات کلیدی: مولتیپل اسکلروزیس، تعادل، راه رفتن، افسردگی، تمرینات نوروماسکولار.}, keywords_fa = {}, url = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_16438.html}, eprint = {https://jrrs.mui.ac.ir/article_16438_3c0cd86a6b88e24ee4915e2e813c248a.pdf} }
