Abstract
Introduction:This research was done to comparison Directionality of drawing Fixed shapes in Preschoolers and primary school according to role of handedness. Materials and Methods: In this research Causality – Comparison, 160 children (80 girls and 80 boys) with mean age of 7/96 in preschool and primary school selected with randomly cluster sampling. The tests were used , Handedness Questionnaire of Chapman and Champman (1987) & Directionality Scale . For the analysis of data was used Chi square test. Results: The results showed that are related Directionality of drawing Fixed shapes and Handedness(P = 0/001) and are Varies Directionality of drawing Fixed shapes in preschool and school children (P= 0/007 , 0/009). The results also showed that Directionality of drawing Fixed shapes in preschool and school children is affected Handedness (P = 0/010 ,0/009). Conclusion: Right Hand or Left Hand are the factors affectingon performance and habits and movements of individuals and Since a right-handed and left hands have different representations of their hand, So we face with two different cognitive structure and strategy in the left hand and right hand. This research is important in applications in diagnosis problem of draw shapes and write of the Persian alphabet , Recommended the continuation of such research in special groups, including the blind, mentally retarded people with learning disabilities can achieved to normal and abnormal patterns in Drawing shapes on Iranian children.
